I have painted more in the last 4 days than I have in over a month. And it feels so good. I will most likely look back on these paintings in years to come and think they are just awful but I feel like I am progressing. I have only started painting (besides floorcloths) less than a year ago and have learned so much during that short time. I love painting more than just about anything right now. If only I could stay home all day and paint - ah, pure joy. But with two sons in college, that dream will have to wait a little while longer. But I am on that path. And there is a light at the end of that tunnel. I love moving forward.

Lovely paintings Paige. Be sure to do what makes your heart sing, and do it often. Don't allow yourself to forget what you dream is of doing one day... 'to stay home all day and paint'. I believe you are already starting the process by painting a little bit in between everything else you still feel a need to do. All the best. I love your work. Can't wait to see when you are having fun doing this all day long. :)
