A new beginning

Welcome to my new blog.  This is a first for me.  I have been following quite a few blogs over the past year but never imagined that I would have one myself.  And especially for my paintings.  You have no idea how scary this is.  Am I really going to put it all out there?  Am I going to be brave enough to show my paintings in progress and even scarier, show them when they are finished?  I know that I am an artist and a painter but really saying it out loud to the whole world (or at least to the people who read my blog) is a big, huge, ginormous step for me.  But I need to do it in order to grow -  for myself as a person and  for my painting business, however large or small it may become.
